Here is everything you will want to know with my honest opinion so you can make the most of your vacation time and budget!

Disney Treasure Cruise
Get ready to embark on an unforgettable journey with Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship: the Disney Treasure! It took it’s maiden voyage on December 21, 2024. This is a sister ship to the Wish, debuting in 2022. Like the Wish, the Treasure has the same basic layout, missing middle elevators, and indoor sports court. Thankfully though, the Treasure has a teasure trove (pun intended) of additions that make it one of our favorite ships in the fleet. Here are some fascinating quick facts about this magnificent vessel that every Disney fan and cruise enthusiast will love:
- Size: The Disney Treasure is designed to be a large, spacious ship, boasting a length of approximately 1,119 feet. That’s nearly four football fields long! This size allows for a variety of attractions, dining options, and entertainment venues, ensuring there’s something for everyone on board.
- Decks: With a total of 15 decks, the Disney Treasure is packed with adventures at every level. This titan class of ship contain the largest ships in Disney’s fleet.
- Crew Size: The crew on board the Disney Treasure is dedicated to making your sailing experience extraordinary. With a capacity of around 1,555 crew members, you can expect top-notch service as they cater to your every need, ensuring that your family vacation is magical from start to finish.
- Passenger Capacity: This incredible ship is designed to accommodate up to 4000 passengers at full capacity. That means plenty of opportunities to make new friends and share magical moments with fellow Disney fans from around the world!
- Itinerary: Currently the Treasure is offering 7-day Easter and Western Caribbean sailings stopping at ports such as: Tortola, British Virgin Islands; St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Disney Castaway Cay; Cozumel, Mexico; George Town, Grand Cayman; and Falmouth, Jamaica
The Disney Treasure promises to create magical memories that you’ll cherish forever! Are you ready to set sail on this enchanting adventure?

Disney Cruise Treasure
Step into the enchanting Grand Hall of the Treasure, where magic and adventure come alive! Unlike the uninspiring Wish, the Grand Hall of the Treasure is a stunning tribute to the spirit of Aladdin. You feel like you stepped into Agrabah! At its heart stands a breathtaking life-size bronze statue of Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, and the playful Magic Carpet, right at the base of the grand staircase, with the iconic magic lamp nearby!
The intricate carpet design evokes the splendor of Jasmine’s courtyard and features beloved characters like Abu the monkey and Jasmine’s feathered friends. Plus, check out the gorgeous mosaic tiles that adorn the pillars, creating a seamless connection between this magical space and the rest of the ship.
This bold design choice to draw inspiration from Agrabah truly sets the Treasure apart from the legacy ships. What I really appreciated is that this Treasure theme and decor was realy evendent throughout the ship in the style AND in the activities offered onboard.
Disney Treasure Dining
The themed dining rooms, fabulous food, and attentive service at dinner are at the heart of a Disney cruise! There are three themed dining rooms you will rotate through on your voyage. Each night you will sit at the same table number, with the the same dining staff – just at a different venue to make dinner exciting and memorable.
Plaza de Coco
Step into the enchanting world of Coco at Plaza de Coco! Immerse yourself in a stunning recreation of the Rivera’s Ofrenda and the vibrant Plaza de Santa Cecilia. The ambiance is beautifully textured and atmospheric, especially at night when the lighting casts a warm, inviting glow over the scene.
Set three years after the events of the film, Plaza de Coco showcases how both Santa Cecilia and the Rivera family have evolved. As you walk down the long hallway leading to the main dining room—much like its Disney Wish Frozen counterpart—you’ll find a treasure trove of storytelling and world-building. I suggest visiting Plaza de Coco outside of your usual dining rotation, especially when the area is bustling with guests!
What’s more, Plaza de Coco offers two incredible nights of live entertainment along with distinct menus! Each dinner show features beloved characters, fan-favorite songs, and talented live performers. Join Miguel, Héctor, and Mama Imelda for unforgettable performances filled with both Coco classics and authentic Mexican melodies. It’s an experience that beautifully blends the charm of Coco with a rich cultural celebration!
The Coco Celebration
Brace yourself for a joyful and colorful performance that brings the spirit of the Día de los Muertos to life! Sing along to beloved songs and watch as talented performers transport you to the heart of Mexico with dazzling costumes and lively choreography. This show is perfect for the entire family and will surely create unforgettable memories.
The Enchanted Fiesta
Join us for an interactive dining experience where the magic unfolds at your table! Watch as our chefs showcase their cooking skills right before your eyes, all while you’re surrounded by the spirit of fiesta! Expect plenty of surprises, including guest appearances from beloved Disney characters who will add an extra touch of magic to your evening.

1923
Step back to 1923, the year The Walt Disney Company was founded, and experience the charm of the world’s oldest animation studio at this unique dining venue.
With two dining rooms named Walt and Roy, guests can enjoy California flavors while surrounded by over 1,000 drawings and props that highlight Disney’s animation history, including iconic films like The Lion King and Tarzan.
Each room has its own entrance, and your dining location will be noted in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. While the atmosphere is more crowded and diner-like compared to the elegant Royal Court on the Fantasy or whimsical Animator’s Palette on the first four ships, the menu offers delicious options worth savoring.

Worls of Marvel
There are two shows on the Disney Treasure:
Avengers: Quantum Encounter
Join Ant-Man and The Wasp as they present powerful Super Hero technologies, including Captain America’s shield and Iron Man’s arc reactor. Things take a turn during their demonstration of the new Quantum Core device when an unexpected villain arrives with a menacing army, targeting their quantum tech. They’ll need help from Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, and the brave diners onboard!
As a guest at Worlds of Marvel, you’ll get to engage with your own interactive Quantum Core at your table. When activated simultaneously, the entire dining room comes alive with energy, leading to an exciting cinematic experience filled with surprises!
I find the Marvel-inspired menu less enjoyable, but my kids are all thoroughly entertained watching hilarious moments, like a towel animal that accidentally grows too big. Plus, catch clips of Marvel tech and movie highlights. At the end of your meal, Spider-Man will swing by to greet guests (no posed pictured, very quick and casual).
Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix
We were so excited for this new show featuring Groot. It’s not as earth shattering as we thought it would be, but it was fun. Basically your family will answer Marvel trivia using the Quantum Core at your table. While Rocket and baby Groot are cute, let’s call it what it is – light Trivia entertainment at your table.
Marceline Market
Marcelline Market, inspired by Walt’s hometown, offers a charming atmosphere with food served in little pods—order from staff instead of self-serve. While the food is decent, options are more limited compared to other Disney ships.
Its unique design creates a cozy vibe but feels a bit cramped, with fewer tables and less walking space. Pro tip: Arrive right when breakfast or lunch opens (check your Disney Cruise App for hours) to beat the crowd!
*Note: The buffet is only open for breakfast and lunch, never dinner.*
Festival of Foods
Check out Deck 11 for a delicious variety! Enjoy tacos at Donald’s Cantina, pizzas at Daisy’s, BBQ at Mickey’s (try the jalapeno cornbread!), hamburgers at Goofy’s Grill, and soft serve ice cream at Minnie’s. The flavors change daily, with mango and pineapple being my favorites.
The Lido Deck offers the same great food as the Wish—amazing theming and variety! Mickey’s BBQ feels less crowded, but the food is fantastic. Don’t miss Donald’s Cantina’s popular burrito bowls and the 12 salsa flavors! This has become so popular they’re adding it to the Dream and soon the Fantasy too.
A heads up: Ice cream only opens from 10:30-11 am daily, so plan ahead. Plus, a cast member serves the ice cream now, so no more DIY cones!
Jumbeaux’s Sweets
Swing by the larger-than-life ice cream parlor, Jumbeaux’s Sweets, inspired by Zootopia! With its fun décor of colorful patterns and vintage light fixtures, it’s a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds. Don’t miss the adorable sculptures of Nick Wilde and Officer Judy Hopps sharing a sundae!
While it’s a bit frustrating that chocolate options are limited to paid treats (besides the standard chocolate chip cookies or dinner desserts), you can still satisfy your sweet tooth with their delicious baked goods, chocolate-dipped fruit, cupcakes, s’mores, and hand-scooped ice cream. Just a heads up: some treats look better than they taste!
Walkup Cafes
disney treasure ship
There are a variety of other spaces on the Treasure that are sure to delight!
Skipper Society Lounge
Welcome to the Skipper Society—a cocktail lounge inspired by the legendary Jungle Cruise attraction! Enjoy themed cocktails and snacks in this elegant space, featuring camp-style decor and playful nods to the witty skippers of the iconic ride.
Relax aboard the “Ems Empress,” named after the river where Disney Treasure first set sail. Here, you can sip adventurous drinks, enjoy live entertainment, and engage in drawing classes and trivia—all with a touch of jungle humor.
Discover the charm of Jungle Cruise attractions with vintage luggage, familiar skippers’ music in multiple languages, and a whimsical monkey chandelier. The lush foliage creates the perfect atmosphere to feel like you’re navigating the jungle waterways.
Haunted Mansion Parlor
Step into the Haunted Mansion Parlor, inspired by a classic cruise liner, where you can sip on ghostly cocktails that embody the Haunted Mansion spirit. Legendary phantoms and eerie new seafarers mingle in this captivating setting.
Enjoy refreshing drinks from our selection of ghostly cocktails and mocktails while surrounded by chilling art that pays tribute to Haunted Mansions worldwide. Marvel at the eerie portraits that bring the spirits to life in thrilling ways.
Uncover the story of a jovial sea captain and his mysterious fiancé, whose sudden disappearance leaves clues hidden around the bar for the keen observer.
This bar exceeded expectations! You’ll need about 45 minutes to take in the show’s magical effects and aquarium features—just enough time to sip your drink. While none of the non-alcoholic options wowed us, the Purple bottle was reasonably priced and tasted just like grape soda. My daughter adored her souvenir hat box ghost!
Periscope Pub
Dive into adventure at Periscope Pub! Inspired by the iconic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, this incredible spot pays homage to both the beloved 1954 Disney classic and the legendary attraction that once sailed through Walt Disney World!
Step inside and explore the enchanting submarine-themed interiors, where a mesmerizing glass ceiling reveals the mysterious underwater world below. With an abundance of effects, props, and hidden Easter eggs, Periscope Pub blurs the lines between a cozy bar and an immersive journey like the Haunted Mansion Parlor!
While the space is really cool, my family never entered except for embarkation day. In my experience, it is mainly an area for adults to drink and watch games.
treasure disney cruise
Looking for the entertainment offerings on the ship? There is so much to see and do on this ship!
Disney treasure shows
The Walt Disney Theatre is the venue for the evening entertainment. It offers 1200 seats split between the main floor, back, and balcony seating. There are no assigned seats, it is a first come first serve basis and reserving is prohibited, although I’ve never seen them stop people. You need to know that Conceirge guests enter first and take up 1/3 of the prime seats. Then they let in everyon else about 30 minutes before showtime. By the time they let you in the line will be very long at every door on every level. If you’ve don the math – this ship holds 6100 guests at capacity and the theatre holds 1200 people. Not everyone will get to see the show. As the shows are a big reason we book Disney cruises, we line up early. On the Treasure people line up particularly early! If you want to be one of the first 20 guests (at a particular door) you will need to be in line about 75-90 minutes before show time! I find that super frustrating, but I guess it’s Disney and lines are part of the game.
One positive, this ship does offer matinee shows. I highly recommend seeing one of the early shows as it will be slightly less crowded and open up your evening to all the other offerings going on at night around the ship. Even the Moana matinee, which was during our time at Castaway Cay, was full with lines beginning over 90 minutes before show time!
Let’s start with the headline musicals on the Treasure.
Tale of Moana
Join our beloved heroine, Moana, as she navigates the vast oceans and faces astounding challenges alongside her trusty sidekick, the demigod Maui. In this magical journey, viewers are invited to explore the rich cultural heritage of the Polynesian islands while witnessing beautiful animation, captivating music, and heartwarming stories of bravery, friendship, and self-discovery.
“Disney Treasure” not only brings back the unforgettable characters you know and love, but it also introduces new friends and thrilling escapades that will make you want to jump right into the adventure! Expect eye-catching visuals, immersive storytelling, and of course, the vibrant tunes that made Moana’s story a classic.
We particularly enjoyed the elaborate set, amazing visuals of TeKa and her transformation to Tafeti, and beautifully choreographed show. Most of the performers were truly amazing, although the Maui was not believable in any way.
Disney Seas the Adventure
This shorter show began on the Wish. It is a cute story of how Goofy ends up being the captain of the cruise ship with the encouragement of some Disney characters from beloved tales. These medly shows are some of my favorite because you get to hear music, see favorite characters, and enjoy the elaborate costumes from various favorite movies. This one has some nice elements, I just think it is WAY too short – only 30 minutes!
Beauty and the Beast
Immerse yourself in the classic fairy tale as you journey with Belle, a brave and intelligent young woman, and the Beast, a mysterious creature cursed to remain in his monstrous form unless he learns to love and be loved in return. From the moment the curtains rise, you’ll be captivated by stunning visuals, elaborate costumes, and unforgettable music that will have you singing along to timeless songs like “Tale as Old as Time” and “Be Our Guest.” The talented cast will transport you to the charming village of Belle and the enchanting castle that holds the Beast and his transformed servants, delivering an emotional experience that resonates with audiences of all ages.
This is the same show that debuted on the Dream and it is a beautiful retelling of a family favorite Disney story!
Disney Treasure Entertainment
There is so much to see and do around the ship. Make sure you look through your Daily Navigator on your ap to not miss any of your favorites. There is trivia, game shows, Pirate Life for Me, drawing classes, family activities like Encanto Celebration, and so much more. Here are a few ones unique to this ship:
Jungle Navagation Cruise
Meet Coriander and Sage, the enchanting new characters created just for Disney Treasure! These nomadic adventurers are here to fill the Grand Hall with wonder, curiosity, and plenty of laughs. Think of them as modern-day storytellers, reminiscent of the tales from One Thousand and One Nights.
Family fun awaits with their delightful shows, including an exciting Jungle Cruise adventure! But the real treat is in Sarabi, where their interactive “Choose Wisely” Indiana Jones-themed stage show takes center stage. Join the fun as these two talented performers bring the legendary archaeologist’s escapades to life in the most hilarious way, with makeshift props and audience participation. Trust us, this show is an absolute blast!
Shipside Promenade
Discover the perfect spot on Deck 5, where you can unwind on our comfortable wooden loungers and challenge friends to a game of shuffleboard! Breathe in the refreshing ocean air and soak up the sun in this beautiful, relaxing oasis.
Note: on the Titan class you sadly cannot walk laps around Deck 5.
Sarabi Lounge
Hero Zone
Get ready to Play, Compete, and Win! Experience an exhilarating mix of action-packed physical challenges and gameshow-style competition in our innovative family recreation space!
Welcome to the Hero Zone, where fun knows no age limit! I absolutely love that it’s fully indoor and air-conditioned—perfect for keeping cool while staying active! This upgraded sports deck mirrors the fantastic setup on the Wish, offering a colossal gym space where you can shoot hoops, challenge friends to ping pong matches, or venture upstairs for even more excitement. Check out our air hockey, foosball, and table shuffleboard tables—there’s no shortage of options for friendly competition!
One little note: while we don’t have an outdoor court or mini golf on the Triton class of Disney ships, the adventure awaits indoors! Are you ready to take on the challenge? Let’s get moving!
Incredi-Zone
Join the fun at the Incredi-Games, a popular afternoon activity! Race your opponent through the massive Incredible Obstacle Course—just remember to bring socks! While the line can be slow, it’s a blast for everyone, especially younger cruisers. The course occasionally gets holes, but the Treasure crew has improved at patching them quickly.
Tink’s Neverland Challenge
Join Tink’s Neverland Challenge on Disney Treasure for a unique adventure!
Gather your family or team up with others, and compete alongside the Lost Boys in fun activities inspired by Tinker Bell. Whether you’re a Peter Pan fan or just seeking some magic, this challenge is for you!
Unlock hidden treasures, tackle interactive mini-games, and fulfill creative quests that embody the spirit of Neverland. Winners from each round will face off in a lively hungry hippo-style game for a chance to take home some awesome Disney merch!
disney cruise line disney treasure
Sunshine meets fun time on the upper decks of the Disney Treasure, home to 10 pools, plus water play areas inspired by Mickey Mouse and his pals. Toy around at Toy Story Splash Zone, featuring larger-than-life rubber bath toys and the Slide-a-saurus Rex family slide.
The pools, waterslides, and splash areas on the Treasure are spread out like the Wish. While it does help distribute people, the reality is that most people want to watch the constant stream of movies on the funnel vision so the main pools continue to be the most crowded with chairs being rudely reserved at the break of dawn and held onto until dinner. It is hard to find a spot to sit and watch the funnelvision if you don’t join in and reserve your families seat.
Aqua Mouse
Enjoy Disney’s water coaster at sea aboard Disney cruise ships! This thrilling ride features 760 feet of twisting tubes and magical animation.
Start your adventure in a 2-seater vehicle as you embark on two splash-tacular journeys! Get ready for the all-new Mickey and Minnie short, “Curse of the Golden Egg,” where you’ll explore a mysterious temple in search of treasure while dodging hilarious booby traps.
AquaMouse opens at 1 PM on embarkation day, and expect long lines that wrap around in the shade—a nice change from the stairs of AquaDuck on Fantasy and Dream! The ride loads quickly on a moving belt, and while you can ride solo or with a friend, high winds require two riders. Must be 42″ tall to ride alone or 48″ for solo rides—no exceptions.
Rex-a-Saurus Slide
If you’re 38 inches tall or taller, including adults, you can join in on the fun on our exciting yellow water slide at Disney Treasure! Climb the funnel and get hyped for the Rex party as you glide down this smooth, thrilling ride!
Toy Story Splash
Check out the Toy Story Splash Zone on the Disney Treasure! This fun water play area for kids up to age 6 features interactive elements, a shallow wading pool, and water slides, all themed after Toy Story. Plus, swim diapers are allowed! You’ll find it on deck 12, behind the funnel vision next to the Rex slide.
Disney Treasure Pools
There are 10 pools on board, each with its own charm. While none are gigantic, they cater to different preferences, including a couple of adults-only options (but just a heads up—there are no family hot tubs!).
The pools open at 9 AM, which felt a bit late for our early-rising family, especially since that’s also when the movies begin!
- In the main area, you’ll find 6 pools, each designed with a slight elevation like stadium seating. The focal point is the Mickey and Minnie Pools on Deck 11, surrounded by loungers and close to the stage for deck parties. A few steps up, you’ll discover the Daisy and Pluto Pools, featuring shallow water that’s perfect for kids and a lovely waterfall. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the movie on Funnel Vision! If you head up a bit more, you’ll reach the Goofy and Donald Pools on Deck 12. They may be smaller, but they’re deeper for some serious swimming fun.
- For a quieter experience, check out the Chip and Dale Pool on Deck 14 forward—most guests don’t venture up there. Just keep in mind, there’s no food nearby or Funnel Vision to watch.
- And for the little ones, Trixie’s Falls is a charming wading pool located on Deck 12 forward.
- Don’t forget the Quiet Cove Pool on Deck 13, which is exclusively for adults, complete with a hot tub.
Disney Treasure Deck Parties
One of my favorite things about going on a Disney cruise are all the many fun entertainment options for families! Unlike the hum drum regae band on most cruises, Disney throws EPIC deck parties! Here is what you can expect:
Let’s Set Sail Party
Get ready to kick off your cruise adventure at Disney Treasure’s amazing “Let’s Set Sail!” party! This vibrant deck celebration features beloved Disney characters, energetic music, and fun interactive dance routines as the ship sets sail! Each ship has its own unique twist, from characters to choreography, making every departure a special experience. Don’t miss the chance to start your vacation in style! There is no bad space to watch this party!
Pirates in the Caribbean Deck Party
Ahoy, mateys! Get ready for an unforgettable Pirate Night aboard the Disney Treasure! This beloved tradition on our Caribbean and Bahamas sailings features an exciting “Pirates of the Caribbean” deck party. Your room steward will hook you up with a free bandana, but many guests come dressed to the nines in full pirate attire—so feel free to join in on the fun!
Join Mickey and friends as they don their finest pirate gear, and enjoy a specially themed dinner that will transport you straight to the high seas. The deck party is packed with a thrilling pirate-themed show, character interactions, lively music, and plenty of dancing. It’s a whimsical celebration and one of our favorite traditions that you’ll surely treasure!
Pirates Rockin’ Parlay Party
Get ready for an unforgettable deck party that will ignite your senses! Join us for a night of live music, mesmerizing special effects, and a breathtaking fireworks show set to the iconic “Pirates of the Caribbean” soundtrack!
The grand finale? Our spectacular fireworks display, known as the “treasure in the sky,” which lights up the night sky right after the party! Don’t miss out on this magical experience!
Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party
Get ready for a magical evening at the Mickey Color Spin Dance Party on the Disney Treasure! Join us for a night filled with vibrant colors, fun dance moves, and unforgettable memories. Bring your friends and family as we celebrate the joy of Disney together!
Disney Cruise Kids Club
The kids’ areas on the Disney Treasure are absolutely incredible! Each age group has its own unique space to enjoy. The “It’s a Small World Nursery” is perfect for our littlest guests—infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years (reservations are required, and a fee applies). For children aged 3 to 10, Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Lab offer a world of fun. Tweens aged 11 to 14 can hang out at Edge, while teens aged 14 to 17 can enjoy their own vibe at Vibe. The older kids can check in and out freely, engaging in games, organized activities, and, of course, plenty of video games!
Let’s dive into the main attraction—the Oceaneer Club! There are two exciting ways to access this secure area: zooming down a slide or taking the stairs or elevators to the kids’ floor on Deck 4. The club is a hub of fun with events, parties, character interactions, movies, and so much more! All counselors are specially trained and have backgrounds in childhood education, ensuring a fabulous experience for your little ones.
One of the unique features of Disney Cruise Line is that the kids’ spaces are open every day from 9 AM to 11:59 PM—nonstop fun! From the Beauty and the Beast room to the Arendelle room and Rapunzel’s art studio, the charming details are sure to enchant. With kids’ bands for secure check-ins, they can even create their own roller coasters and then experience their designs—how awesome is that? What preschooler wouldn’t want to play in this delightful nautical-themed room alongside beloved pals like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy? There’s also an exciting Star Wars area featuring moving creatures being transported throughout the galaxy. Kids can join the adventure with tablets in hand, engaging in a scavenger hunt, feeding the creatures, and meeting characters like Rey and Chewbacca! My boys really enjoyed creating their own super hero suites in the Marvel area. And can we talk about the bathrooms? They are absolutely adorable! Who wouldn’t want a Pixar-themed bathroom at home? Plus, there are automatic hand washers to keep the germs at bay.
During open house times, anyone can peek inside, play, or join in scheduled activities where they can meet Chewbacca, Black Panther, make Stitch Go, and more!
While I do wish there were more unique elements in this area so it wasn’t exactly like the Wish, it’s still an amazing space that captures the innovation and excitement we love about Disney!
disney Treasure Staterooms
Discover the magic of Disney Treasure staterooms, perfect for every taste and budget! From cozy inside rooms to stunning ocean views, balconies, concierge options, and luxurious suites, there’s something for everyone.
We absolutely love the adorable designs featuring artwork from Aladdin, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Finding Nemo, Luca, Encanto, and Up!
The staterooms offer comfy beds and spacious 1.5 bathrooms, along with lovely curtains that provide privacy between the two areas. Plus, there’s a great selection of Disney+ options to enjoy on TV, and the rooms are always sparkling clean! And let’s not forget the delightful nightly turn-down service, complete with a charming towel animal and a little chocolate surprise!
The only downside we noticed is that the Titan class rooms might have fewer drawers and storage solutions.

Conclusion
I had an absolute blast on the Disney Treasure! It’s quickly become one of my favorite Disney ships. As always, the service was top-notch, the shows truly enchanting, and the fireworks at sea were a delightful highlight! The Pirates in the Caribbean deck party was exhilarating, the food was delicious, and the rooms were incredibly comfortable — plus, there were so many magical surprises throughout the trip!
I loved the stunning Agrabah decorations in the atrium and the unique entertainment offerings like the Haunted Mansion Parlor and the family fun at Sarabi Lounge. Dining at Coco was an unforgettable experience too! Everything tied together perfectly to create an adventure like no other!
